At Sleemon Furniture, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We are dedicated to providing high-quality furniture and exceptional service. However, we understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned, and you may need to request a refund or return. This Refund Policy explains the conditions and process for returns, exchanges, and refunds to make everything as simple and transparent as possible.
By purchasing from our store, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds are applicable in the following cases,
- You receive a damaged or defective item
- You receive an incorrect product that does not match your order
- The item you ordered is out of stock or unavailable, and you no longer wish to wait
- You cancel your order before it is dispatched or manufactured
- You are not satisfied with the product and wish to return it within the allowed return period (conditions apply)
2. Non-Refundable Items
The following items are not eligible for refunds,
- Custom-made or personalised furniture
- Items that have been assembled, used, or damaged after delivery
- Clearance, sale, or promotional items (unless defective)
- Orders that are returned after the 7-day return window
- Products returned without original packaging
We encourage customers to double-check product dimensions, colours, and customisation details before confirming orders, especially for custom pieces.
3. Return Period
You have 7 days from the delivery date to request a return or refund for eligible items. After this period, returns or exchanges will not be accepted. We recommend checking your order upon arrival and contacting us promptly if there’s an issue. Items must be unused and in original condition to qualify.
4. Return Conditions
To qualify for a return or refund, the product must:
- Be unused and in its original condition
- Be returned in its original packaging or equivalent protective materials
- Include all parts, accessories, and documentation
Sleemon Furniture reserves the right to inspect the returned product before approving any refund.
5. Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or broken during delivery, please notify us within 24 hours of receiving your order.
Steps to follow
- Take clear photos of the damage or issue from multiple angles
- Email the photos and your order number to sleemonpty@gmail.com
- Our customer support team will assess the claim and contact you with the next steps
Depending on the situation, we may offer one of the following:
- A full refund
- A replacement product
- A partial refund for minor damages
- Free repair or correction
6. Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed within 7 to 14 working days. The refund will be made via the original payment method or EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer), depending on what was used.
We will require your bank details for EFT refunds if applicable. Please ensure the information provided is accurate to avoid delays.
7. Shipping Costs
- Return Shipping: If the return is due to an error on our part (wrong item, damaged product), we will cover the return shipping cost.
- If the return is due to a change of mind or any reason not caused by Sleemon, the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.
We recommend using a tracked and insured courier for returns, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
8. Cancellation Policy
If you change your mind after placing an order:
- You may cancel your order within 24 hours for a full refund.
- If the order has already gone into production (for custom pieces) or has been shipped, cancellation is not guaranteed, and refund eligibility may be reduced.
Contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order.
9. Exchange Policy
We allow exchanges in certain cases:
- If the product was delivered incorrectly or arrived damaged
- If the item is in new and unused condition, and you wish to exchange for a different colour or design (stock dependent)
All exchanges must be requested within 7 days of delivery and are subject to availability. Additional charges may apply if the new item has a different value or if return shipping is involved.
